VIDEO ART

Michael Spahr creates video art by animating photo collages. His video art has been shown on TV (e.g. filewile video clip “chumpnrun”, Blues Horror Brigade video clip “Asteroïd Funk”), in galleries and as architecture art (e.g. “GLOBOCITY”, “History Dumped”), in publications (e.g. “agent-provocateur.ch”, “Ya Sharr Mout”) or has been used in his video performances (e.g. “Norient – Sonic Traces: From the Arab World”, “Die Versuchung, die Romanza der Eluvies von Alfred Wälchli zu spielen”). Some of his work has been awarded (Kunstschub Art Award by gallery Atelier Worb for “GLOBOCITY”, sitemapping grant of Swiss Federal Office of Culture for “Sonic Traces”).
