INTERACTIVE VIDEO ART FOR THEATRE Michael Spahr has created different interactive video backdrops for plays and performances. The most recent play he was involved in was «Les pauvres sont tous les mêmes ou des chevreuils à vive allure» by Swiss-French playwright and director Marielle Pinsard. The controversial play has been performed at Centre Culturel Suisse in Paris and Lieu Unique in Nantes (France) in May 2008. (Picture and video on the left.) Since 2005 Michael Spahr has created video art backdrops for Swiss theatre company Matterhorn Produktionen (Ursina Greuel & Guy Krneta). «Fondue Oper» is a opera written by Guy Krneta and composed by Till Löffler. It opened in April 2008 in Basel and will be shown all over Switzerland. The absurd comedy deals with the difficult relationship between Germans and Swiss Germans.
